Hi, I am Mrunal.
HCI Researcher. Designer. Artist.
I am Mrunal, a 2nd year Masters in HCI student at the University of Maryland, College Park. I am fortunate to be advised by Dr. Huaishu Peng, at the SMART Lab at UMD. During my undergraduate years, I had the privilege to be advised by Dr. Dipanjan Chakraborty at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad, India. My work has previously been published at conferences like CSCW'22 and IndiaHCI'20. I also worked as a professional UX Designer at OLX Group before grad school.
Research Interests: Tangible Interactions, Education, Accessibility, Human-AI interactions, Human-Robot Interaction, Social Computing.
