Mrunal Dhaygude
Hey there! I'm Mrunal, an artist, designer, and researcher currently based near Washington DC. I'm pursuing my graduate studies at the University of Maryland, diving into Human-Computer Interaction and fueling my passion for design and technology. Recently, I've been immersing myself in the world of interactive technologies at the SMART Lab.
Before grad school, I worked as a UX Designer at the OLX Group, assisting people globally with their used car transactions. But before all that, I was studying Electronics and Instrumentation back in India. Since I was young, I've had a knack for art, painting, tinkering with crafts, and crafting custom gifts for my family. The blend of art and tech drew me to Human-Computer Interaction, where I feel my greatest strength as a designer lies - in my unwavering love for art and technology that keeps my curiosity alive and thriving.
When I'm not absorbed in my studies or design work, you'll find me exploring the city, trying out new restaurants, cooking up a storm at home, and catching up on some much-needed sleep :P Recently, I've been passionate about photography and videography. I'm determined to kick my laziness to the curb and finally create that squirrel film I've been dreaming of.
